Deon Boshoff Attorney is a specialised legal team who pride ourselves in offering both personal and professional legal advice to our clients. Deon has been practicing on his own since 2012, supported by his qualified and experienced 'A-team', which consists of Lizelle Geldenhuys, Mariëtte Botha and Cathy Danvers.

Director, BComm, LLB (Stel) (1976)
Deon attained B Comm and LLB degrees at Stellenbosch in 1974 and 1976, after which he did his articles in Durban, “to learn to speak English”.
During this time, he realised that city life was not the environment in which he wanted to raise children, so he and his wife, Carina started looking for a town in the Western or Southern Cape to relocate to.
When the opportunity arose in 1979 to join what was then Vowles, Metelerkamp & Callaghan in Knysna, he took it and has never looked back. He joined the firm in 1981 and became name partner in 1983.
After many years of renting their office space, the partners bought an erf in Queen Street and built the Concillium Building, where Deon still practices today.
In 2012, Deon started practising on his own, specialising in conveyancing, the administration of deceased estates and commercial work.

With 20 years' experience in the banking sector, Lizelle's insight into financing, her attention to detail and leadership skills, makes her an ideal personal assistant and conveyancing secretary to Deon.
Mariëtte Botha
Bonds, Bookkeeping and Reception
Mariëtte is not only the friendly face and voice that greets our clients on arrival, but she also manages all our bond transactions. Her commercial and accounting experience serves her well in her role as bookkeeper.
Cathy Danvers
Deceased Estates Administration
Cathy had worked in FNB Trust, administering deceased estates for 27 years. In 2014 she and her husband Barry retired to Knysna at a young age. She soon realised that the retired life was not her cup of tea, and so when Deon offered her the position as deceased estate administrator, it did not take much convincing for her to change her plans.
